Frank Martin Busch & the Names: Where Heartland Twang Meets Modern Grit

 From dusty red roads to dive bar neon, Frank Martin Busch & the Names carve their own brand of country, seasoned with alt-twang and storytelling that digs deep. A side project blossoming into a full-fledged force, they bring four years of shared highway miles and a wellspring of original tunes to every stage.

 Frank, a songwriting champion (Isthmus Magazine's "Fave Singer/Songwriter" two years running) leads the charge, his pen weaving tales of small-town dreams and restless hearts. Inspired by Turnpike Troubadours, Tyler Childers, and the timeless echoes of Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, their music resonates with raw honesty and an edge that keeps it fresh.

 But Frank's voice isn't the only one that shines. The Names – a tightknit crew of drums, bass, guitar, and fiddle – lock in like a seasoned family band, weaving harmonies that elevate each song to anthemic heights. Their musicianship is as undeniable as the grit in their sound, adding depth and dimension to every chorus.

Born in Arkansas, J Edwards spent most of his childhood traveling the states with his evangelist father and singing family. He grew up performing a variety of instruments, depending on what was needed at the nightly church services. After touring on his own within the Christian music industry, J Edwards found solace in playing the blues at small clubs and juke joints across the country.

A catalog of songs and a raspy singing voice were his tools in forging a long-term career as a singer-songwriter in Nashville. The new music scene shaped his genre into something between country-rock and blues; from ballads to rockers, his tunes evolved beyond his small town roots.

Always working on the next installment, J Edwards can be found in the studio, writing room or on tour.

This summer, we’re partnering with Visit Adams County to bring Drive-In Movie Nights to the field at Hoozels—think great movies, cold drinks, and warm nights under the stars.

Movies will start at dusk, with titles announced soon. Expect a lineup geared more toward a grown-up crowd—perfect for date nights, groups, or just an excuse to get out of the house.

Pull in with your vehicle or claim a spot up front with a lawn chair or blanket for a more laid-back viewing experience.

The patio bar will be open, serving up your favorite drinks, plus popcorn and movie snacks to keep things classic.

No tickets, no fuss—just show up, grab a drink, and enjoy the show.
